Think the record is somewhere around 40,000 by Kareem, if I'm not mistaken.

I love coach Bud, but holy shit are his out of timeout plays with the game on the line absolutely terrible.

Hawks-Cavs ECF could be great. Got no faith the Hawks can get there though.

Realistically who are people thinking will be in the ECF with the Cavs?

Raptors / Hawks / Heat would be my guess. If Raptors make it out of the first round then I think they'll make it to ECF.

I have to think it's TOR or ATL

I want to say TOR or ATL but after seeing last year's performance by ATL when they were first seeded makes me wary of making that call. If Miami is healthy entering the playoffs then they might meet up with the Cavs in the EFC.

It's weird to think the Hawks sit where they are, which is in a pretty good spot, and there was talk of them trading Horford and Teague earlier in the season.

I just don't think this brand of basketball is going to win a championship with this roster. They really need one guy who can knock down any basket, at any moment, or a guy who can just takeover. We see flashes of that with Teague, Millsap and Horford, but flashes aren't enough in the playoffs.

Yeah they went through a weird funk before the all-star break and seemed lost. I don't think they ever intended to make a trade unless someone offered a package they would be dumb to refuse, but the rumors at least seemed to take a toll on them. They've really stepped it up since then though, especially on defense.

I agree, that seems to be what they're missing because they get down to the wire (much like tonight) and don't seem to finish well and when they do, it's astonishing.

They definitely had their chance to seal it late in regulation. Horford missed a few close shots that would have done it.

OMG and Al is the one to take the final shot at the top of the three. Oh boy…

I mean, the ending to that game is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. You need a 3-pointer to win, and Horford takes it.

If that was GS, then Steph just ended that with a game-winner. I know Steph's don't grow on trees, but that's what keeps Atlanta from being a pretty good team vs a really great one.

Always seems to be the case of "would have" with the Hawks.

Bud is a great coach. Already one of the best in the league, and he's going to have a long career of successful regular seasons. The FO has got to get him the missing piece though.

Well done to LeBron, now it's time to watch the Warriors continue their path to 73!
