"Best shows of the 2022 tier list" is going to be so hard this year. 2022 was such a great year for tv.

I am thinking now when i make my list if i should just split it in two and just put original series and franchise series in their own separate categories.

 

I'll say this though my streamer of the year? Hulu without question.

 

what are your favorites from them?

 

The Bear, Reboot, Reservation Dogs season 2, Only Murders in the Building season 2, Under the Banner of Heaven, Fleishman is in Trouble which is airing right now is fantastic. I still need to finish The Patient.

All the "Lifetime original movies but more prestige with bigger budgets" limited series are not really my thing but I appreciate that they have them.

Also It's not a Hulu original, I think Abbott Elementary's popularity was very much driven by Hulu.

 

The bear, reboot and under the banner of heaven are all great. Still need to start Fleishman is in trouble. Also yes Abbott Elementary is fantastic.

 

Only murders in the building is rough. Couldn't finish season 2.

 

Reservation Dogs deserves all the praise

 

I watched 1 or 2 episodes at some point and then kind of forgot about it.

 

finishing knives out and then it's time for the last waltz

 

Just saw an ad for poker face coming to peacock. I’m definitely intrigued.

 

Been watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer with my wife for the first time. Midway through s4, loving it.

 

Never watched it but it’s always been on my list.

My TV list will be significantly harder than my albums list this year.

Station Eleven, Andor, For All Mankind, The Bear, We Own This City, Atlanta, and Better Call Saul could all be reasonable number ones for me.

 

Severance definitely the best of the year

 

Severance is probably the best but the bear was my favorite.

 

Oops, forgot to put Severance in my shortlist. That would be a contender for me too.
