What concerns me about it is how little we know about the game and it’s supposed to come out in the first half of 2023

Switch was the first console with cartridges I've ever played

 

Oh, I feel old now.

Anyway. We keep hearing about workers being pushed to meet unrealistic deadlines their companies set for themselves, then people complain that the games are buggy upon release, then the company releases patches and it's all good. Over and over again.

Sometimes they came up with wild ways to patch them, like you could take your game somewhere lol Good times

 

Probably, or at least force Sony to accept a new kind of reality (e.g. GamePass on Sony consoles), BUT don’t think Sony would hesitate to pull the trigger if they were in Microsoft’s position lol

 

I feel like Sony would be happy to have Game Pass on their consoles no? That would actually be great for everyone lol.

 

at this point, putting GamePass and all the games on PlayStation would hurt Xbox more than Sony, because that would require Microsoft porting all of their games to keep the value of the sub, making Xbox as a console more or less obsolete.

Which, as a consumer, I'd be in favor of, but it definitely isn't in Microsoft's best interest, as Game Pass is also a huge driver for game sales, where Microsoft takes another 30% cut.
