$25-30 is what I expect to spend for shirts, anything over that is just out of what I'm willing to pay. I still remember paying $30 for an LMFAO shirt in 2010 and thinking that was absolutely insane. What an age to be alive.

 

This happened to me at Lorna Shore a few weeks ago in LA. The venue was already bad but from the smoking area in the back and into the venue, it was difficult to get back in. So crammed

 

This happens at pretty much every sold out Metro show in Chicago. If you don't get there super early you find yourself outside the main floor with 0 view of the stage.

 

Day by day lineups for heart support

Saturday is stacked minus one shitty band. Really hope they get dropped

 

Tgi then rise is going to be interesting. Saw them (TGI) last year at riot fest and they were one of the top acts of the entire weekend. Had an hour set and absolutely destroyed it and played like 15 songs.

Sidenote but is anyone's show calendar suspiciously empty for January? I feel like acts may be skittish about it due to potential COVID variants.

 

Yeah maybe play outside the 4 major US cities

 

Yep I have nothing atm for January or February

 

Only got parkway drive in January. February is empty too. Only got we came as Romans that month

 

January is usually light for me

 

Grabbed a weekend pass for LDB. I've always wanted to go and it'll be easy to resell if plans fall through.

 

This is a solid lineup

 

turnstile are fucking everywhere

 

If it's alt/rock oriented (and sometimes rap) Turnstile will probably be on it this year.

 

Good for Turnstile getting on all these awesome tours and fests while they can

 

Homesick fest in the Bay is every January, but that's it so far for me.

 

Got Gel and death cab in January but that’s not until January is almost over. Only got The Smile and Wild Pink in December.

 

The Sound of Animals Fighting is the only show I have tickets for in January so far, but I'm sure some more stuff will pop up. February I have Bayside/I Am the Avalanche and maybe Muse or the Jerry Harrison / Adrien Belew Remain In Light tour.

 

If Menz didn't have to reschedule last weekends shows I wouldn't have anything for Jan or Feb either

 

Unless more Jan/Feb tours get announced next week and up until Christmas, I have 4 total shows lined up for Jan/Feb.

 

I have Joyce Manor in January and maybe Aaron West.

 

I was so ready to mock the shit out of a smashing pumpkins festival but that lineup is actually incredible lol
