As a big anti marvel person, I don't know where all these sore marvel people are that take criticism seriously. Everyone I know that likes going to see a marvel movie would never spend more than five seconds defending one. These must be very online people that have nothing better to do. I feel like most people don't give a shit.

It's probably a small minority, but they are the loud ones online. The vast majority of people who watch superhero films are normal people that don't go to bed every night swearing vengeance against Martin Scorsese.

James Bond is a fundamentally racist and xenophobic series. No matter what new flavors they try to add to it, that is how it began and it should be retired. Mission Impossible doesn't have that baggage.

I've only seen Brosnan's and Craig's and I can hardly remember Brosnan's. Casino Royale and Skyfall are better than every Mission Impossible film except Fallout, but every other Mission Impossible film is better than every other Craig Bond film except maybe MI2 if you're not feeling campy

Also I love all of the Bond movies because of growing up watching them with my dad and I truly enjoy each one. That said I really can’t defend them outside of my love/nostalgia for them. I love the MI movies but I think the top 3 bond films are better than the top 3 MI films.

 

I doubt you’d care to be watching casino royale and then QoS right after makes QoS so much better. It suffered from the writers strike.
