I was trying to explain that to my fiance last night because she wanted tickets to Dolby. I was like no there are movies that are shown in 3D and there are movies that were MADE to be shown in 3D

The first one had people coming out of the woodwork to see it that you would never expect. Even my grandparents loved it. I saw it opening night in 3D, was blown away but thought it was about to flop for being too weird, and yet here we are.

This will make bank. If it gets in to China, it will be the highest grossing film of all time

I’m not sure everyone is falling for the 3D craze twice. If every ticket sold was forced to be in 3D with the extra price inflation then it could maybe become the highest grossing film ever, but the theater near me doesn’t have a single showtime in 3D for their biggest screens.

Not everyone will see this one in 3D but everyone will see it in some format

It'll be the first film I've seen in 3D in probably close to a decade.

I remember being on a different platform in 2009 when everyone was confident the original film couldn't make its money back. As far as blockbusters go, this is a big corrective to the eight superhero movies a year.

No Way Home made $1.9 billion without releasing in China? Geez Louise. I didn’t know that. That’s impressive.

As for this film it’s obviously going to get close or break $2 billion with China.

If you have never seen it go watch the How To with John Wilson episode on Avatar fans. It was one of the most beautiful and heartwarming segments of non-fiction television from last year.
