Lol we’ve been going through like 10 various bottles that we got as samples seeing what he likes the most. Finally picked a winner and now need to replace allllll of the nipples for them. Super fun

 

Yeah bottles are probably my least favorite thing other than the lack of sleep. Had a bunch of Dr. Browns given to us that were too fast initially, donated them. Then bought a bunch of Avent bottles, then that nipple was making him lazy when breast feeding, so had to buy more Dr. Browns for the optimal realistic nipple shape.

finally think we found a pump that works well for my fiancé though

 

My wife literally stopped breastfeeding today, we're all bottles now for at least the next two months until she's one.

Washing bottles is an all-time least favorite activity for me lol

 

I forgot how awful washing bottles was.

 

I just roll with the same one for a while until I remember he probably needs a new one

You're doing it wrong. I understand your complaint cuz I've had it a few times but I unscrewed everything and redid it and it's fine. Had very few issues through 4 kids otherwise.

Coming home tonight back to my fam… just surprised the kids on FaceTime about it. Was supposed to get home next month but somehow got on the early group flight back for our unit. Being away for 8 months suuuuucks. 6 more years until I can retire though.

 

around the top edges, but yeah unscrew and rescrewing it usually fixies it. I've moved on to Lansinou bottles though, I'm a big fan of them. We had some sucking and suctioning issues and the Lansinou ended up fixing them so big ups the them.

 

It me

 

We bought a sterilizer/dryer that makes it so much easier. Soap that bad boy up, rinse it out and put it in and it’s done and dry 45 minutes later.

That and the bottle warmer have made his cluster feeding a little bit easier

 

Both kids had COVID this past week. Daughter still has a stuffy nose but is doing fine and our son had one day of slight fever and that's it.

Glad to have that over with.

 

y'all got any recommendations for bookshelves that can have baby books at first but that they can grow into when they're reading actual books too? seems like everything is one or the other lol

 

They make bookshelves with adjustable shelves but if they aren’t secure the baby could pull them out lol. We just have a normal bookshelf and it works fine since baby books vary in size quite a bit
