Be kind; everyone is on their own journey.

Reintroducing wolves has completely decimated the wild life wherever they’ve been brought back…put em in the arctic

if I get called 911 for a spider bite, I’m technically supposed to bring the spider.

    1) No. I’ll take a fucking picture. Maybe. If it’s dead.

    2) Working in an ER, if someone handed me a container with a spider in it, they can fuck right off.

Boebert suggested to CNN on Thursday that a lack of voter enthusiasm for her party's candidates for governor and Senate caused her race to be much closer than anticipated.

She noted that Gov. Jared Polis and Sen. Michael Bennet, who are both Democrats, skated to reelection.

"I think Polis and Bennet definitely carried the ticket for the Democrat Party," she told CNN.

She added, "I don't know if there wasn't enough enthusiasm for our top ticket candidates for governor and Senate or what happened there. But there was a lot of shifting of the votes there."

Boebert still expressed confidence she would eke out a victory. "Of course, I expect to win."

But Republicans say she didn't do enough to insulate herself from backlash from voters in her district. Indeed, a GOP source says she was advised to spend more of her campaign cash late in the cycle.

Asked if she believes Republican leaders gave her enough support, Boebert said, "I am my support."
    So no then.

Boebert expresses optimism but casts blame on her party with her reelection bid still too close to call | CNN Politics

I know you're supposed to do that with ticks but I would also be like nope if someone handed me a spider

Ticks are awful. The worst kind of bugs around. They kill deer and moose, give Lyme disease and other dangerous coinfections. Ugh.

I am more scared of ticks in nature than about damn near anything else. They fucking terrify me.

Is this true? Hasn't the reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone been routinely cited as an important factor in restoring balance to the ecosystem there?

I visited a friend last year and their back deck was INFESTED. They were literally crawling out of the floorboards, I found one on my leg and and got it just as it was starting to attach. Was so grossed out. I already had Lyme disease from about 2nd grade through highschool because I was misdiagnosed for so long and I'm just terrified of them. Lyme disease is very difficult to treat if you go a month past infection and the blood tests are very unreliable, so doctors often leave you feeling like you're crazy

I have an irrational fear of doctors for how I was mistreated for so long. It wasnt until I found a very thorough and caring nurse practitioner that I was diagnosed

Yeah I know someone that has Lyme disease and its really sad how much it impacts this persons life. That is another thing that not many people realize is how different Lyme disease can impact people and the the wide variety of symptoms/severity of them along with they might pop up way down the road.
