Finally caught one of my white whales for a price that didn’t make me cry!!

 

I think my biggest white whale is Saosin's self-titled. I wasn't collecting during the last repress. I'm getting closer and closer to spending a lot on a copy from discogs but keep holding out in hopes it'll have another soon.

 

My white whales are Mutemath S/T and Moving Mountains S/T. Moving Mountains seems more realistic at this point, but I can't bring myself to pay $100 for a copy.

 

Biggest white whale that's actually been pressed is probably Leaving Through the Window. If we open up the door to things not on vinyl yet, it's Letters by Butch Walker (or really the entire pre-2008 Butch Walker discography).

 

Sing the Sorrow and first two MUTEMATHs are way up there for me.

Biggest white whale that I don't have and has been pressed is The Wrens' The Meadowlands. If we include things that haven't been pressed it's Gillian Welch's Time (The Revelator)

 

Ive checked a few off recently though between finding that copy of Bows and Arrows plus the Photo Album and False Cathedrals represses

Discogs, I just check my wantlist diligently every day or two and last week a VG++ copy popped up for about 40$ usd from a Canadian shop with reasonable shipping. Keep the faith!

 

I always wanted an OG define the great line but I’m not a fan of the cover so I do ok without it. Purple LITSOS is up there. Would possibly trade my box set for that one (idk if they’re at all price compatible)
