    So assuming that this weekend...

Although I prefer this year’s lineup to next year’s lineup, it’s still something I see as traveling out for. I was always going to try and do my best to go next year because after seeing how awesome it looked made me want to not miss out on it again.

    Must See:
    The Movielife
    Blink 182
    Motion City Soundtrack

    Really Want to See:
    Say Anything
    Sum 41
    Thrice
    The Ataris

    Will Catch if Time Allows:
    Tigers Jaw
    NFG
    Less than Jake
    Rise Against
    The Academy Is
    Michelle Branch
    Green Day

Never really listened to Finch, tbh!

You have a year to remedy that.

First Finch album was great. Couldn't get into the second one and never even knew they released a third one.

I saw them a few times during the What It Is To Burn tour cycle.

I totally forgot Finch was playing.

I fell in love with WIITB, and a lot of those songs are still quality bangers. I didn't like SHTS when it first dropped, but in revisiting the album I dig most of it and I'm bummed everyone hated it so much.

1st finch album is easily top 10 all time for me, if not higher. A complete masterpiece where essentially every song is amazing. Insane how they could make such a revolutionary album and fall that fast. I guess they ran out of good ideas for songs ?

They were huge in 2002-2003 too. Like, bigger than The Used and My Chem and TBS. What It Is To Burn was all over the radio and MTV.

For those who weren't old enough to remember, I can't stress just how much Finch fans hated SHTS when it first dropped. I've never seen a band's fan base reject a change in sound the way Finch's fans did.

What It Is To Burn is incredible, nothing after that album has been anywhere near that quality, one of the wildest flash-in-the-pan albums from a band

I saw movielife, my chem, finch, the used (amazing show obviously). This was 2003.

Guess who the HEADLINER was! Finch. So you're right on about finch being the legit top of the world for a small minute.

Yeah, I saw that show at The Agora in Cleveland and I remember Bert walking through the crowd to catch Finch's set. I shook his hand, haha.

def was a co headliner with the Used. They both had the same set length but rotated closing slots. The Used closed my date and Bert threw a fruit basket out at the crowd to start the show and my girlfriend at the time got hit in the head hard by an apple.

SHTS doesn't really sound like no-good-ideas-for-songs to me hahh, there's so much going on. Some songs fall flat, maybe, but the album's amazing and stands the test of time too. Same with the following EP. And that record is definitely more revolutionary than WIITB2 would have been - just my take. Would really love to see them live and that would probably be one of my highlights off of the next year's line-up

i would unironically rather go to that for limp bizkit, breaking benjamin, slipknot, toby keith, and deftones than next year's lmao

  19. Makes sense why you wouldn’t want to go to the one next year if those are the bands you’d rather see…
