Yeah this rules. Reminds me of everything I loved from the 2010s emo scene. Going to be very high on my AOTY list.

I’ve said it before with other records / new artists but this is why I appreciate this site - love randomly discovering a great new artist or album I never would have come across, but because of a post I read here I get to experience it

 

Great album that I think a lot of people around these parts should love. Early days but this is my favourite new emo album in a while. Hits for me in a way that other nee emo albums really haven't. Surprised there's not more hype on here.

 

Loved the last EP a lot. Haven’t been able to check this out yet but really looking forward to doing so.

 

It's in a close battle with Anxious for emo AOTY, aka AOTY

The bridge in Formative Age is huge and the final part of Playing Mercy gives me chills every time.

This record is so good

 

Tough love reminds me so much of your deep rest and the vocals remind me of the first dangerous summer release before reach for the sun. This feels like their best release by miles, and their two EPs were great too

 

I thought of Proper.

Yeah I really like this and also my favourite Hotelier song remains Your Deep Rest and those two things are not unrelated.
