Seems fine — getting Jamarr Chase practice reps in the event that he’s ahead of schedule (which he can’t do if on IR) is almost certainly more valuable to them than having a fringe player on the roster as opposed to just using them as a practice squad call up

Hey Randall don’t lump the car battery problem in with solar. The power sector makes up the vast majority of GHG emissions. Pumping money into expanding wind and solar and ending fossil fuel combustion is the only real solution.

 

Ending single use plastics is necessary though, we’ll never even start to get a grip on the plastic pollution problem without doing so. Of course this requires a systematic change in the industry and me and you not using plastic straws isn’t going to change much. I do appreciate the awareness when I see a business use paper straws though.

 

I’m about as left leaning, liberal as you can imagine. And when I see those damn paper straws I am filled with a rage unlike any other before.

Should probably be mad at plastic companies for contaminating literally everything with pfas instead

It’s just a crazy pet peeve. Paper straws are so bad functionally, and me using a worse straw will do NOTHING to help anything. Every time I’m forced to use one I wind up cursing out the closest Exxon mobile station I can find.

 

Bring your own metal straw for the win tho. My girlf always has a couple in her purse. I need a collapsible one that can more easily fit in my pocket though.
