Dude, the amount of players the Panthers had/have on absurd contracts in 2022/2023 is absurd. I mean, fucking backups making millions with not much at all in savings to cut or trade

 

For better or worse, I signed Mecole Hardman in free agency solely because of his speed. Figured he’d be a great deep threat and manufactured touch guy. We’ll see, but I’m liking where we’re at right now. I just have to improve Willis’ accuracy and also learn how to dominate with a mobile QB. If I can, I might fuck around and make him the franchise QB

 

Also, someone in my madden league was just booted for cheating. Apparently, there is a glitch that if you go an astronimical amount over the cap, the game freaks out and you end up with 1.2B (yes, billion) in cap space once the offseason hits. And there's no way to fix it. He was 150m over the cap because of trades he made. Claims he didn't know about the glitch, but why else would you put your team in cap hell like that??

I love Dr Pepper and Coke but have been avoiding it because my health is rapidly deteriorating (saying it that way makes it sound like I'm dying soon but I don't think I am)

 

if I have a choice, I will always pick Iced Tea

but sometimes a nice cold Coke with lunch just slaps

I try not to drink a lot of soda or drink it at night because it keeps me up (I am an old)

Had some really good iced tea last night at our 5 year anniversary dinner

I discovered that if you book an anniversary dinner though restaurants assume you want champagne and had to do the awkward "oh I don't drink" thing that makes me feel bad especially when they want that nice alcohol-loaded final bill

 

This is also why I usually try to steer clear of bars if I ever go out to eat. I’m always just that guy that goes “I’m fine with just water, thank you”
