Damn the first day is always so tough. Slept poorly with multiple bad dreams and had a headache today. Very irritable up until I did an intense workout.

I also bought something called NutraCleanse which is a same-day detox kit (it’s a shot and four pills which you’re supposed to take with a ton of water). I’ll add that on to the end of my t-break for the test day. Probably going to give me horrible shits and I’ll be blowing up the lab bathroom but hopefully this will all be worth it

in my unintentional quest to buy a different brand every time i visit this dispensary, i picked up this London Pound Cake (which up until literally just now i thought said Lemon) from West Coast Cure.
i'll see how it is tonight (and i should start trying to roll my own shit- i been buying prerolls this whole time)

 

My company usually does an employee appreciation sale a couple times a year where they sell us up to 10 grams for wholesale price. This year we get 3 grams of live hash rosin every week for the rest of the year. Lfg

 

I didn’t know that Colorado Springs shops are medical only. Luckily there was a shop just outside of town. Plus we leave for Denver tomorrow!

 

they're voting on changing that soon i believe but yeah it's bullshit. the ones on the outside of town are wack too. super expensive. i would only get the bare minimum from the Manitou Springs dispos and splurge in Denver.

 

Went to Boulder last week and spent like $300 on flower/carts/edibles in four days. And I felt like I was holding back from overdoing if lol.

coulda spent a lot less but I needed carts and edibles because we were driving around and doing hikes and stuff. Woulda been much cheaper to just get like an ounce and smoke it at the house. Still was a great time though.

 

Well that’s good to hear. Yeah, we only got some gummies. After taxes it was $37 for 100mg.

 

Got some Botanist key lime gummies and they’re delicious. Pretty solid high and they’re vegan too, hard to find gummies without gelatin.

My trip to Denver was great! Stopped at a place called Oasis Cannabis Superstore. We spent about $130 worth of flowers/edibles/pre rolls. I wanted to go back just because they had so many things on sale.

We were way over our head when we walked in. The lady who helped us out was amazing and so nice.

 

Test is tomorrow morning. Incredibly anxious about it. But I suppose I’ve done everything I could with the amount of time I had. Please send good vibes, friends.

 

The ultimate irony in all of this is that i just looked up the company’s drug testing policy and searched my specific test number on reddit and apparently they may not even test me for THC……

Well after months of trying to locate some quality flower near me, I just give up. I’ve hit up like five different people and every time it’s PGR and I can feel the synthetic bullshit from it.

Anybody in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill/ANY area in North Carolina who can hook me up with someone who has quality? I know that’s a long shot. Just have zero options at this point so if anyone is able to help me out please let me know. I don’t wanna stop smoking but I can’t keep dealing with this garbage quality that just seems to be everywhere now.

There's a loophole in the hemp laws that companies are exploiting, allowing them to sell THC-A "legally"

THC-A is just pre-decarbed Delta-9 THC, so once you heat it up/smoke it, it's literally the same exact thing

 

I don’t know much about the thc a loop hole but after learning about D8 and all those analogs- I would recommend NEVER consuming that stuff.

while d8 is technically a naturally occurring compound it only occurs in insanely minuscule quantities. Like a full field of hemp for a single gummy.

so what they do is synthesize hemp cbd into d8 which is not a clean process in most cases. It’s definitely possible but the labs doing it are operating beyond any regulation. Testing shows very high residuals left over in the final product. Shit like sulphuric acid getting into “legal weed” is very fucked.

I'm sure there are vendors selling shady stuff, so definitely do your research, but I've bought a few THC-A products and I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference from any other weed I've gotten off the street or from a dispo. The only issue is that it sells out quickly and is overpriced (imo) BUT it seems like a feasible option for those in a regulated state without a solid connect.
