The Bulls looked rough last night. Pat Williams has not looked good to start the season.

 

I've thought a lot about this. It would definitely require a structural shakeup with the G-League. Each team would have to be unaffiliated from its NBA. But I feel like in the long run it might actually be beneficial financially. It would bring in more viewership to the G-League, which could help increase overall ratings in small markets. Plus you could have relegation tournaments similar to the play-in, with the bottom four teams competing to stay in the league. Then the G-League playoffs, you'd have the winner or top two teams being promoted plus they get the top picks.

Never gonna happen though.

 

Mathurin is playing great but has lowered expectations, Paolo is playing great like he was expected to.

Very true. I'm just extra hyped that it looks like Orlando might've actually picked someone who'll pan out. They haven't had someone average 4 free throw attempts per game since Dwight! That said, I think Mathurin may end up having one of the best careers out of this class.

 

Yeah the owners would absolutely never go for it. The commissioner is only a puppet of the owners, after all.
