Man, I must have gotten really lucky with my tickets, they were not that bad at all (compared to how other shows of this size have been since shows came back). I guess I got there before the "dynamic pricing" wrecked it

Untitled (the song) from Dude Ranch is a deep-cut that doesn't get talked about enough.

It's a top 3 for me. Great Tom vocals with Mark in the background.

  4. Once considered it my fave song at like 15 lol

Lyrically, I can see it speaking well to a 15 year old dude. It was cathartic to me at 17 during some girl stuff.

Dude Ranch will always mean the most to me personally since that was my introduction. But when TOYPAJ came out, it was a game changer for me. The timing was perfect for me. I was a freshman in high school and just meeting the friends I’m still close with till this day. It was an immediate hook for me. Much fast than Enema was for me.

I also think it’s their most timeless album. It’s a bit darker than Enema, but still has the playfulness of Enema. I also think the production is the best production in pop punk of all time. It’s a just a notch above Enema in the category, in my opinion.

The one thing I think Enema has over TOYPAJ is the flow of the album. It’s an easy listen, but I’m always left with wanting more. Then enters TOYPAJ.

I just joined Mark’s dickschord and, wow, he shares so much awesome stuff on there! Photos of his basses, recording snippets of bass riffs, him digitizing old demos…so rad.

Tom’s guitar sounds beautiful on TOYPAJ, it’s his best work. And I agree about the flow of Enema. TOYPAJ flows well too but just not as good.

Was re-listening to NINE yesterday and it occurred to me that one of Matt's final vocal contributions is the close of Remember to Forget Me and I think that's very fitting as a note to go out on.

Not Another Christmas Song kind of undermines the point but in my defence I forgot that existed

Nothing says "startup motivated by honest curiosity about the universe" quite like appearing on the cover of Entrepreneur magazine

As much as it pains me to say it, people aren’t nearly as critical of the many Mark and Travis side hustles.

  16. Yeah, because their side hustles aren't scams.

Idk why but space tom doesn’t bother me. Plus, he did actually make headway on the alien front

The reunion buzz landed shortly after I got married, but...

My wife had been planning for months to walk down the aisle to this David Gray song. On the day-of, she surprised the heck out of my with a piano "First Date" cover done by the church singer and organist. It. Was. Epic.

I had my wedding party walk down to the Vitamin String Quartet version of After Midnight. A few of my friends in the audience came up to me very pumped cause they recognized it instantly haha

I’m always forever grateful we just got space / alien Tom and not anti-vax or QAnon Tom. There were many conspiracies we could have lost him to - and at least when it comes to the truly hateful harmful stuff, he said I won’t go down that fucking rabbit hole.

I think I have said this before, but my good friend and sister did a There is cover with the drum roll and the chord progression on violin for my wife's down the aisle song, and the groomsmen walked out to the instrumental intro of the adventure.

First dance was a cover of Dustin Kensrue's song pistol. My sister sang, did the harmonica part, and played guitar. It ripped.
