The thing that’s tough for me about the Pinegrove situation is that it was never supposed to be public knowledge. It’s certainly possible the victim or victims would have come forward eventually, but everything I’ve heard makes it sound like the only person who wanted it to be a public affair was the PunkTalks dummy. Not saying that excuses Evan’s past behavior, but I think that context is important

From the context I got from the video, Aldean was saying how he was thinking of a guest and thought Maren Morris (to get the audience to boo) and thought instead to bring out Morgan Wallen. I could be missing some other context.

 

Maybe I don't understand Twitter, but I read the tweet a hundred times and still don't understand what happened before booing, to prompt booing

This makes much more sense now, he's such an idiot, proud of how well Maren has dealt with it all
