It is very unfortunate that 3 civilians were killed on the Crimean Bridge but it was a legitimate target with military and logistical significance. Troops, tanks, vehicles and weapons were are all freely flowing across it into Ukraine supporting supporting Russia's invasion, and now those supply lines are disrupted and it's harder and slower to bring all those things in. Pretending that is the same things as deliberately waging a terror campaign against civilians where many of the targets have no military or logistical significance whatsoever and the point is to kill and injure civilian non-combatants and only civilian non-combatants is just fucking stupid. Absolute fucking nonsense. The only reason to open fire on a convoy of civilians in cars from tanks is to kill the civilians in the cars. Nothing else is accomplished there.

One civilian being killed is an atrocity and is one too many, which is why Russia should stop their violent invasion of another country's sovereign territory and fucking go home.

 

The Russian army is indiscriminately killing, torturing and raping Ukranian citizens in Ukrainian land.

This guy's argument would actually be more compelling if he didn't bend over backwards to so grossly downplay Russia's current actions in Ukraine. I see why he does it, but it hurts his argument instead of helping it.

He has a lot of very good points about Palestinians and how everyday people in the collective West view that situation, but I take issue with his stating that Moscow has expressed a repeated willingness to negotiate, and the way he refers to Russia invading Ukraine as Russia's "unprovoked aggression" (quotation marks his). I don't accept that imperialism is only bad when The West does it.

Fields getting muddy in Ukraine

 

Russia is actively and openly committing genocide and not even denying it and instead openly talking about it themselves, and you still have people running around making excuses for Russia and saying that they aren't doing what they are doing and openly saying that they are doing, and that the actual problem that needs an immediate solution is that people who don't like Russia are using too strong of a word to describe what they are doing. Complete and utter absurdity.
