Anyone know the Spotify presale code? I want to be disappointed again when I’m 2000+ deep in the queue.

Not sure I'd even put it over Blame It On My Youth as a lead single

Nice to hear Mark and Tom on the same song again though

The song is catchy, I don't love or hate it. Just sounds a little closer to Nine than I would like vs something like Untitled. But I remain optimistic after some of the details Jason shared

I like it, it’s a fun track. Won’t go down as one of my favorite blink songs by any means, but it will get some plays and should be fun live.

…I think I hyped myself a bit too much on the preview haha. That first verse with Tom is pretty solid and the choruses are fun but yeah nothing mind blowing. I remember being floored when I heard Bored To Death the first time so not quite the same reaction.

But still… so happy this is happening.

It's a fun little track but I think it's my least favorite lead single from any blink album and it lacks the "big return of blink" energy that "Up All Night" and "Bored to Death" had.

I'm not too worried though. "Blame It On My Youth" was my previous least favorite lead single and NINE ended up being one of blink's best albums.

Now that I'm hearing full quality pretty fine with the production. Guitars seemed all too quiet until now. Feels like a continuation of the shared vocals from the last two albums, I like that. It's a fun song. Bridge immediately better than everything from their first reunion. Def has grown on me

I eventually came around and love BIOMY. And didn’t like Neighborhoods when it came out either lol.

Agreed on the shared vocals note.

My biggest hope for this album is that it feels cohesive -- that it truly feels like an album. This is something that Neighborhoods lacked. I certainly enjoyed that album but it was very scatterbrained and you could hear the fact that they were not recording together.

But with the Skiba albums, putting overall opinions on the albums themselves aside, it was clear that the three of them were working as a cohesive unit.

I'm hoping this is the case with the new album.

it's not a "good" song by any means but the excitement of tom's return makes it better. with that excitement, this song is fucking great. i want to trash my apartment. it's on repeat.

    IMO,

Up All Night > Edging > Bored To Death > BIOMY

Nothing against Skiba, as he was a great fill-in and cool addition to keep the Blink engine running, but Mark and Tom's dynamic has always been my favourite, even when it's sucked.

I just let my Spotify run through Nine after playing Blame It On my Youth ... forgot how good the back half of that record is.

Black Rain -> No Heart to Speak Of - incredible

In all honesty, I don't think I've given NINE the credit it seems to get a lot within the Blink community.

Once the Tom hype dies down, I'm going to try digest it properly. I really like Run Away and Hungover You.
