I love the closer so much. Really impressed with this album, honestly. I’ve read some reviews that suggest it’s a step back, which is just wrong. Yes, there are plenty of moments that harken back to the first couple (about you even reminds me of the EPs), but it also so obviously would not exist pre-Notes.

 

Yes but I think we all kind of understand that most of us will/have purchased the record, tickets to the tour, etc.

Which doesn't hold up in a court of law, but does morally haha

Wild that this band has an album out tomorrow, that a bunch of y’all are apparently already listening to… and I spent most of this album cycle forgetting that it was coming. Like, didn’t even remember it was out this week.

Probably will dig it when I get around to it, though! Will be a happy lil surprise.
