i think the leak that mentioned split evos for the starters was proved wrong. though i think corocoro might have hinted at it?

 

there's a burrowing owl that's prominent in the day that is thought to possibly be the day form

 

coro coro said rockruff shared the same secret as the starters. split starters werent in the old leak, but the concept hasn't been disproven.

 

So i have a quick question for you guys. I've never pre-ordered a game before but I'm tempted to do it for this one. Do the games typically sell out anywhere? Or would I still be able to find them pretty easily a week or two after the release date? I kind of want to compare the differences between them before I commit. At the same time I can't wait and would love to be able to get it right away.

In short, are there any pros/cons to preordering other than getting the game ASAP?

Usually they don't sell out, from my own experience, but I like preordering because sometimes you get something like a code for a pokemon or a poster so that's the perk.

 

Next info drop is October 4th.

Not going to lie, I just realized that after watching the most recent update video a second time, that the separate evolutions are specific to the different games. Up until now, I thought they were evolving differently depending on the time of day they were evolving, not taking into account that the games are called Sun and Moon...

the official site says it's a product of solgaleo/lunala's energy(based on the game youre playing), so if that's the same secret as the starters, their evos might be version exclusive too.

 

I really hope the version-exclusive evolution thing is real because I was not a fan of Litleo's final form that got leaked. haha

Random Battle replay: birdtyped vs. ecirht - Pokémon Showdown

 

Not sure why I continue to battle on Showdown when 9 out of 10 people forfeit the moment shit goes south for them haha.

 

What reason is there to continue if there is no way to pull it off? I'll usually give the person a heads up. If the score changed more for quitting, it'd make more sense to stick around.

 

I throw a quick gg out whenever I make a bold prediction that is not accurate, and yeah I quit a lot. If I see a sableye shedninja talonflame dugtrio team, or one of those all wall teams I just quit right there.

 

It's usually right at the beginning, when they predict incorrectly or something. I just think the frequency that it happens is odd.

My favorite is switching into Espeon and bouncing back their Stealth Rocks. Turn 1 instaquit, just about every time.

This guy was arguing with me about what Magic Guard was when I switched in a Clefable and swept him. Lol

 

It's always funny when people who aren't familiar with an ability get really made at you... it's happened many times with me with mold breaker lol.
