Underoarh is only touring when some of their members can use vacation days or weekends. Pretty much all of them besides Aaron and Spencer have real jobs.

    NOFX
    Suicide Silence
    Anti-Flag
    Parkway Drive
    Hollywood Undead

    but does it djent?

Hollywood Undead would be dope. I wonder if they'd be too big for Warped though.

I think they would be a good fit now. They're in a similar situation to Bullet For My Valentine and Atreyu this year. They're still probably too big to do a full run, but they're not nearly as huge as they once were.

    but does it djent?

They had a fairly successful UK/EU tour with Attila a few years ago so they could fit in well enough.

They've got to change it up this year. Boxscores from last summer weren't too good.

Talked to Kevin about this wild playing don't think they would play again cuz he said not this year and music is not really suited for warped so they won't be back ever I don't think

They seem like an ideal Warped band.

  13. ALT/MSC/FAN

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

I can sort of understand where they're coming from. There's only so much you can do with that type of a crowd as an acoustic act, especially on side stage. Unless they did the whole thing full band, which kind of deteriorates what they're doing.

If an act like Mother Feather can play Warped Tour, literally anyone can play Warped Tour lol.

My picks right now for the tour based on hype are...

    The amity affliction
    (beginning of album cycle)

    As It Is
(they had a great dead of hype on 2015 and will also be starting a new record cycle)

    Atryu
(I think a lot of people were really happy they played the dates they did and went over great)

    Water parks
(I have no clue why the band has such appeal but they seemed to just kill it)

    Good Charlotte
(This is just a personal hope but I think their gaurentee would be too expensive for the whole tour)

    Night Argent
(They've had 2-3 weeks on the tour the last 2 years and won the warped battle of the bands)

    Tay Jardine's new project
(WATIC always had a great rep with Kevin and she could be the same wild card that echosmith was)

    Cover Your Tracks
(It seems like epitaph is pushing them really hard)

    Conquer Divide
(They have Joey Sturgis' fiancée in the band, they have the all girl appeal and the music can be on really any stage)

    Pvris
(They may be a bit too big now and depending if they're done writing)

    Capture The Crown
(They get so much hate but they're on a label that doesn't have many choices to pitch that would fit the tour and they're supposed to have a totally different sound on the new record)

    Capsize
(They seemed to go over insanely well this year)

    Blessthefall
(They seem to do it every other year)

    Crystal Lake
(They're trying to make the move from Japan and are great)

    Emmure
(It looks like they're trying to write a lot of wrongs and will probably have a new record)

    Architects
(If they're ready to do it I'm sure they're label will push them hard)

    The Ghost Inside
(Again another situation that if they're ready Kevin already said they're on)

    Gym class heros
(Just a matter of them getting themselves to want to tour)

    Memphis may fire
(Again they have a new record and seem to do it every other year)

    Citizen
(I can see them doing it cause they do have a lot of hype)

    Deaf Havana
(Would love to see them do it but I highly doubt they'll ever be back to America)

There's a bunch of others but those are my main guesses regardless if I like them or not

If the tour keeps selling like the last two years have, Kevin is either going to have to book smaller venues/number of bands or call it a day. Which is a shame because this year had a great lineup after the extremely weak (in my opinion) 2015.

I hope it doesn't happen anytime soon, but when Warped stops being a tour I can see it transitioning into a one stop 2 or 3 day festival like Lollapalooza did.

Man, talking about the potential demise of Warped bums me out.

A lot of good points here but I still have the feeling the tour isn't done just yet. There has been a lot of talk of Kevin passing it on to his daughter when she's ready (possibly in the next few years). From what the box scores have shown the tour still sells well enough to make it profitable and considering it's importance in the scene I don't think they are willing to give up on it just yet.

Not sure if it's been mentioned before, but I can see The Wonder Years passing up Warped either to write a new album or because of the FPS controversy two years ago

I personally think PVRIS popularity is slightly inflated amongst the Warped scene. I mean, they are doing well, but when i saw them with BMTH they didn't get a huge response and it didn't seem to be the huge break out it was suppose to have been. They've had some mild commercial radio success.

Keep in mind, PVRIS was announced over a month after the tour itself was announced because they were still on Warped Tour, and a bunch of dates sold out before they were officially added.

Plus, in between the time you saw them vs. now, they opened for one of Fall Out Boy's largest and (sales wise) most successful US headlining tours.

After seeing the crowd they drew at Hartford Warped this year, I totally see why people might think they're getting too big. The whole festival seemed to shut down and gravitate to the main stage when they played.

All valid points and I forgot about the FOB tour.

I would say though, isn't the Hartford date a "home-town" show for them? When Our Last Night was bumped up to main stage at Mansfield Warped in 2015 the same thing happened.
