there's at least one horror movie every year that has the same headline to generate some buzz. the only movie that i've seen that had an headline like that that legit grossed me out was Kuso.

I watched Teen Wolf and Scary Movie tonight. One of them still holds up.

 

Terrifier 2 was definitely some insane practical effects but something about the tone of the movie stops it from being taken very seriously so I didn't think it was too bad

 

watched Bride of Frankenstein for the first time last night

 

how was it? haha i've been meaning to watch it forever but still haven't seen it.

 

it's wackier than Frankenstein but still great/a classic

there's some dumb/choppy editing I didn't notice originally, but Hallow18 still rules. opening night of that was some of the most fun I've ever had at the theatre

JLC justly gets endless praise but man Judy Greer's delivery of "gotcha" deserved an emmy by itself

 

Also just did Halloween 2018 and I think I like it more and more. Maybe I'll feel better about Kills this time around. In any case, very excited for Ends on Friday.

 

Just watched the new Hellraiser. I liked Drew and Odessa in the film. Really have no interest in watching another Hellraiser again, though. The series is just weird and sadistic. I like horror that is spooky or fun. Not horror that makes me want to shower and wash away what I saw.
