Speaking of vote blue no matter who. The Vance/Tim Ryan debate was this evening. They both suck and Ryan is obviously not as bad on every other issue but the question came up about Russia using nuclear weapons and Vance said nobody knows what the response to something like that should be and we need to de-escalate and Biden hasn’t been doing that, and Ryan said we need a swift and strong response and basically talked like we should have troops on the freaking ground there. Ok I’m plugging my nose in this vote but when I’m looking at that mushroom cloud I’m really going to spend my last thought on these useless fucking democrats.

Xi is doing a lot of things wrong but zero covid is, given the early things we're learning about this virus' long term effects, possibly settting up China for a huge advantage over the rest of the world in the coming decades.

I do think they're being a little too hardcore with it, like the literally locking people in stuff is dumb when they can probably be trusted to be way more voluntarily cooperative than Americans can be....but yeah.
