Pregnancy complications spiked during the pandemic. No one knows exactly why.

Trying to make a baby with a wife working in a school and a kid in a daycare where no masking precautions are in place is horrifying right now.

 

Laugh all you want, but I was in a hipster coffee shop the other day and I heard his very same high biologist in the kingdom of biologists friend talking about this mass genocide that he knows about but has also chosen to do nothing about other than tell his friend to post it on Twitter, and it was very sobering and we all stood and clapped.

What's this process like if you don't mind sharing. My partner and I don't plan on getting married, but love each other and are in a lifetime commitment relationship. I know that we will be common lawed at some point so was curious as to what happened. I know it's state by state, but is it just paperwork?

 

I pay $10/month at Panera and get any hot or cold drink, as many days and times I want. I stop on my way to work for my tea and don’t buy anything else. $300/month makes me cringe.

 

My fiance has been handling all of this so I don't know everything. She works for the state, so for me to be added to her benefits we at the very least had to be common law married (which I guess only exists in 7 states, plus DC)

Her job already had the forms created for it so we just had to sign a document "under penalty of perjury that the following is true and correct" that we have an actual and mutual agreement to be married, it's a permanent relationship, and the relationship is exclusive "as proven by our cohabitation as spouses and hereby hold ourselves out publicly as married"

No idea what the process is like under different circumstances
