Billing as a co-headliner and filling arenas instead of larger theaters or hockey arenas is a larger guarantee

    Things have changed.

    Paramore isn't on this, people.

Go Guardians. Go Blink 182. Browns suck.

Paramore isn’t aligned with the pop punk scene much anymore. Sure they are playing that Vegas festival but they’re more part of the indie scene now. Why would they tour with a pop punk band now? They don’t have as big of an overlapping fanbase as people seem to think anymore.

The supposed 2023 blink 182 tour dates have leaked. They are posted in the blink thread

I feel like they need one more band to do arenas. Am I wrong?

    I think arenas are appropriate

    idk man

It's kind of wild how they are doing two arenas in New York and then a Long Island show, when I saw them back in 2019 at Barclays it wasn't anywhere close to sold out

They can do arenas easily. This will be one of those 2000 + Ticketmaster queue on sales that everyone has a tantrum about.

If there are GA tickets for this blink tour, I will go SO HARD trying to get them. Ugh, I've been waiting for this my entire concertgoing life.

You must hate people like me who saw them 4 times between 1999-2002 mainly due to going to see the OTHER bands they were playing with.

Those "leaked" tour dates look super suspect. The have the band playing DC then driving to Brooklyn then back down to Baltimore.

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

Based on those dates, and that Turnstile appears to be the only opener, I wonder if Summer 2023, they do arenas, then Spring/Summer 2024 they do an amphitheater run with a larger lineup

    Just a little bit;-p

I started listening to them when I was 11 years old, around 2013, so Tom left the band before I ever got to see them on tour, and I cried so hard. I saw the California tour, but I was in the cheap seats, and I was still bummed about Tom leaving. I'll be 21 when the alleged reunion tour finally happens, so this reunion has been a long time coming.

Jason seemed to think there was another opener, so who knows

There will probably be another opener, but they might want to do another US tour before the blink tour, so they won't be announced until later to avoid radius clause issues.

How far in advance do stadium tours get announced? For July, you’d think it’s gotta be soon right?

My friend went to the I Prevail / Pierce The Veil date in Chicago last night, it's been sold out for months now. He told me that about third of the crowd left after PTV's set which sounded really weird to me. I though IP were the main selling point of this tour but I guess they are not as big as I thought they are.

This is the same experience I had. In Minneapolis, the floor was absolutely CRUSHED with people all pushed and packed in like sardines during Pierce The Veil, then the crowd became a bit more chill and thinned out for I Prevail.

I Prevail definitely is more popular among the broader active rock/metal crowd, but Pierce The Veil is way more popular among a younger, more dedicated fandom that are more avid concertgoers, so it's no surprise they have the more enthusiastic crowd.
