They were pretty much all the same too. Nine sounded like they actually put a lot of thought into it. Emo Shit is the best

 

Just got to thinking that an album would make sense given that AvA cancelled their UK tour and ended the touring cycle of Lifeforms fairly quickly. Feels like maybe opportunity to record popped up in everyone's schedule and he decided to go make an album with his best friend knowing the fans would understand eventually.

 

Just give me that Tom & Mark chemistry from Untitled rn even though it was kinda forced haha

 

Meanwhile, I think I’ve probably only enjoyed single-digit Tom songs since maybe the first AvA record lol. Still optimistic and open minded going into all of this, but still.

 

Tom & Mark trading vocals on kinda faster track with Skiba dropping in to slower melancholic bridge would be very welcomed also

 

Just give me Nine plus Tom.

All you Nine haters are only denying yourselves their best front to back record since untitled.

As a diehard blink AND Trio fan.. This is all the best news for me because that means Matt spends more time with Trio, speeding up a new album with them.. and Tom back with blink means just... my childhood favorite band is at it again... I enjoyed Mark and Matt and it was something I never thought would happen in a million years... Just... Lets just enjoy it all.

 

This Dodgers v. Padres series/rivalry is gonna break them up again isn’t it?!

I thought Dogs Eating Dogs was pretty good and had them heading in the right direction. I prefer that blink over Nine most of the time.

get rid of those long intros on When I was Young and Disaster, and I liked the tone and production of that EP. Also spend a bit more time honing in the lyrics on Pretty Little Girl.

then again, a Pin the Grenade with Tom would be pretty sick too.
