Good thing they decided on this show, loving it so far. Especially for a first season!

I thought mount doom had been around for a long time so the ending got me good lol. That was insane.

Fuck everybody who says the Harfoots are the worst part of this. Poppy might be the most charming character in this show.

I’ve never disliked the Harfoots. Aside from being charming they bring the show some fun scenes away from the dread

I did not realize today was the finale already

EDIT: never mind. I read that wrong.

  13. Ep 6 was epic. Just an amazing hour of tv.

Ep 7 was great too. I really feel for Durin in this. That storyline has been my favorite, and it's mostly due to how good those actors are and how invested I am in the Durin/Elrond friendship.

Can't believe next week is the finale already.

Been watching lots of lore videos it’s been great. I lent someone my Silmarillion like a decade ago and I regret it lol

After the healing of the tree… is meteor man Tom Bombadil?!

    (Still watching the episode.)

She mentioned Celeborn! Ha. My nerd post came quickly. “I never saw him again after that…” however, is exactly how they’re getting around the rights issue, haha.

I’m leaning towards Radagast. Bombadil is an immortal god pretty much but I know they’re loose with lore.

Radagast makes a lot of sense, but the wizards didn’t come until the third age, which is the only reason I keep expecting it to be someone else. But yeah, loose with lore definitely opens the door for Radagast/Gandalf.

Kinda wondering if the demonic trio are the Witch-King of Angmar and two lackeys.

If they’re keeping the same way he appears in the second age the same as the general lore (which, I’m not sure what it says specifically in the ROTK appendices they can pull from about this)… no.

Yeah, and he looked totally badass. It was one of the most visually striking shots from an episode jam-packed with them. It was right up there with the jump cut to Middle-Earth that dropped us right into a huge battle with an eagle fighting some kind of other flying beast.

  24. The Southlands to Mordor transition at the end was super lame but good episode. Bummed there's only one more

You’re not wrong, but I like it more than having Adar just say it.
