I was there and I was so fucking drunk that I genuinely didn’t notice how bad he sounded until watching it back later.

I think the final few bands were ADTR when they were good and we didn’t know of the bad shit going on, The 1975 on the debut, and then these guys. I was having a great time lol.

The only time I saw them with Tom was in 2009, and it was great. Tom was so drunk and dominating the mic, making jokes during every song (I think he said something about taking a bath with Oprah?) It’s weird because I know he HAD to have sounded objectively bad, but I honestly do not remember that being the case at all lol. It was so fun, and I was mostly in awe of Travis anyway.

 

They should finish "Punk Kid" as their comeback single.

Next year I'll be campaigning for the demo to be released for the 20th Untitled Anniversary. That being said it'd be super annoying to spam Mark with "release this?!!!!". We need a higher up to whisper in his ear that it's the right thing to do.

I think even that very off-the-cuff rendition "Punk Kid" sounds awful but to each their own.

It would probably end up the way Up All Night did but I still want it. I just can't live in a world where demos from Untitled live without me hearing them.

I hope those Hoppus hard drives eventually get public perusal one day.

That's actually a good point. It's not that I'm expecting the demos or reworkings of old songs to be amazing, or ever great, I just want to HEAR them because my curious little mind is obsessed with this blink band.
