That VIP set up was that way when I saw Outkast in 2014. I got GA and got there super early to get to the front and I was like a football field away from the stage (or it felt that way)

This is a live nation event after all. Should have known they'll pull something like this.

 

It was known for a good 4-5 months now

 

Can't wait to see how many people collectively say fuck it and just hop into VIP.

It's hard for me to tell how big this site is from this map. Like is that VIP section as big as a normal ampitheatre pit or is it bigger? Just the area directly in front of the stage.

Damn that's a huge VIP section

 

basically looks like being in the front row of GA is the equivalent of being in the worst seat in an arena

 

That setup looks truly awful. It’s mind blowing how bad some of these festivals are run compared to the major fests (Coachella, Bonnaroo, ACL, Lolla)

 

People are definitely going to jump into VIP

 

Yikes, that could turn into an Astroworld situation real quick if any of those fences go down.

 

Fortunately for me, I don’t neeeeed to see either headliner so I’m happy with chilling in the back.

 

Holy shit that’s fucking awful and I’m pissed.

 

WOW that VIP section is too big. I actually feel more bad for the bands, as anyone playing those main stages before 7pm are gonna basically be playing in front of a field of concrete.
Fortunately the Checker Stage and Stripe Stage don't have that set up, so fingers crossed for ya'll that a lot of good acts are on there.

 

it won't take long for bands from this scene to tell people to jump it. probably within the first two acts.

 

Looking forward to the trifecta Netflix/Hulu/HBO docs on it.

 

I'll be there on the first day, so if anything is to go wrong, it'll probably be that day. So we'll see what happens...
