On the flip side, all of MGK and Travis' cohort (jxdn, Huddy, KennyHoopla, Yungblud, Willow, Iann Dior, Blackbear, Mod Sun) are probably here to stay, so uhhh, have fun with that.

  3. I’d gladly take KennyHoopla over any of them

    Things have changed.

Travis' kid got added to When We Were Young (lol) so expect a lot of nepotism.

I very much enjoyed that KennyHoopla EP. The rest of those artists, not so much.

Kenny RIps. By far the best of all of Travis's produced albums in the covid era. I would love to see him as the first opener on a Blink tour.

Kenny had quite a lot of blink influences on that stellar ep he release a year or so ago.

Yeah get Kenny out of that group

Does Travis have anything to do with Mod Sun? I know he himself drums and I don't think I've ever heard any association really with him. Obv he knows Feldmann and Avril but idk other than that. I don't hate Mod Sun but something about him annoys me a little lol

  12. The fact that the first Blink song he ever heard was “Darkside”, that kid can eat rocks. Haha.

It’s been 14 years and I still can’t get over how ruthlessly Atlantic City booed Asher Roth throughout his opening set for blink’s (first) reunion tour. There was a temporary reprieve for the one hit he had but otherwise it was nothing but animosity. Never seen anything remotely like it before or since.

If Travis pushes his crew on audiences, I’d expect them to deal with some similar shit.

  21. Bunch a 40 year olds booing kids would be awkkkkk

Booing is so lame to begin with. Go grab a beer and browse the merch if you’re that pissed about it.

Yeah or just skip the opener and get to the venue for the headlining set

Could have just been the fact that it was in a standing room only venue without any other openers. Or maybe it was just an Atlantic City thing? Either way, it was awkward as hell and I felt pretty shitty for the guy.

Opening for blink should be an exciting gig to land regardless of how the fans from the ‘90s think of them.

When I saw blink play in 2013 the opening band was New Beat Fund and Taking Back Sunday. New Beat Fund got booed out of the building, when they said it was their last song the crowd cheered. Later that night Tom asked the crowd if they liked New Beat Fund and everyone booed and Tom said “oh ok tough crowd” and then started laughing. I remember walking out of the area and New Beat Fund was in the lobby at their merch stand trying to sell their CDs and shirts and literally no one was in line for them. I felt bad for them.
