I also haven’t watched Avatar 1. I can respect the filmmaking behind it but I have never had a desire to turn it on

I was legit trying to think of the two volcano movies. Good time to be a Blockbuster…out of Dante’s Peak…just grab Volcano

Phaynes isn't wrong. It's been an open secret for months. Not to take away from your discovery, but anyone who's been following production of this movie shouldn't be surprised.

What’s still unknown is who will be THE Black Panther once the credits roll.

Like, I’m sure I’ll enjoy this movie and will be fine with the length. Just in general, Hollywood, make shorter movies.

After Love & Thunder I'm done complaining about MCU movies being too long

Because that film was short and had no meat to its bones

I assure you 30 minutes more would not have made it meatier. It would have been 5 more minutes of goats screaming. And every scene would have just had more jokes.

You’re right. That movie had bad creative choices all around. Still, most of the MCU films that have been really good have been over 2 hours. The Avenger films, winter soldier, civil war, no way home, ragnarok, etc.

I mean, 2 hours and a little change isn’t bad. Once you hit two and a half, IMO, you really gotta earn every minute beyond that. The Batman absolutely did. I wanted more. The quality of the movie plays a huge role in whether the longer runtime is worth it. With credits and having to wait for the post credit scene, you’re in for over 3 hours.
