but sometimes a bad inclination is for fans to get weirdly possessive

 

Of course, I didn't mean to sound possessive exactly and maybe chose my words quite inaccurately too, it's not that serious in the end - I'd just find it quite odd if it was a deliberate promo thechnique

 

It would 100% be dumb and bad if he intentionally released it on his solo album planning the entire time to remove it to “build hype” or whatever for LS Dunes.

I used the word integrity to describe the integrity of the album as an artistic vision, and as an artist I respect greatly I know he cares about that too much to be fucking around with it for the sake of building "hype" for another project. It would be a pretty weird/confusing thing to do for a pretty niche project to build 'hype'. I'm not sure who/why/where that hype would be generated anyway. The music speaks for itself and creates the hype. Your theory was a bit silly let's be honest.

My boom done record fiiiinnnallly arrived today. I preordered the first release the day it was available, but something went wrong so I had to chase it several times. Not super impressed with the merch company, but at least it's here now.

 

Psyched to get the new pressing of WYSBIL? Been kicking myself for a long time for missing out the first time round.
