Thursday had a pretty killer set when I saw them on…well, Thursday lol. Anthony Green came out and did “Understanding in a Car Crash” with them and I got this footage of it.

Also Geoff is a way underrated live singer. He still sounds just like the record. Extends the notes, voice doesn’t break, doesn’t sound tired.

 

it helps if you were never much of a singer to begin with but yes geoff always sounds great live

Geoff pretty much says he was tone deaf when he first started singing in kill the house lights lol

Looks like they soundchecked with “I Never Told You” today and played it twice! Fingers crossed they bust that & Deathwish out in Sunrise on Saturday.

 

Wife and I just lucked into a golf cart ride from the parking lot directly to the ticket readers like the elder ass emos we are lol

Even back when No Dev came out Tim would write with them but wouldn’t always tour w them.

 

I think I’ve seen Tim with them once? out of like 5-6 times.

 

I’ve never gotten so choked up at a show before that I couldn’t sing but holy fuck when the entire crowd was singing I’m not okay louder than the band just now that really hit me.

 

For a myriad of reasons I broke out crying during four different songs at 9/11 Barclays.

 

Theyre gonna bring it out for the NJ shows this week

 

I feel like for the New Jersey shows, they're gonna play longer...and maybe even rarer stuff that they never play like I Never Told You...lucky ducks!

i definitely think the NJ shows will get something special but, i'm not gonna raise my expectations too high that i'm disappointed lol still get to see MCR twice this week
