I don't think they are the type of band to do it, but I totally think they could go the independent or crowd funded route. They seem to rely on a small, but passionate fanbase. I think it could work.

It sucks too, because they often have the best pre-order packages. The signed photo booklet is very cool.

I can see them doing that too. From a creative side I see it being the best for them and to be honest, they probably would benefit from marketing the album themselves at this point considering hopeless didn't seem to do anything worthwhile.

I think they recorded Happiness Is as an independent band, but they needed a label to release it. So it'd be interesting to see them release an album themselves at first like Circa Survive did before getting a label to release violent waves with the DVD.

I've always liked it, but it's only recently that I've started loving it. Best Places, This Is All Now, You Got Me, Who Are You, Falling - all some of their best. I think Adam fluctuates - absolutely some of his best stuff is on there, but El Paso might be his worst performance is an awful song and even his screams on You Got Me are pretty bad haha

S/T is easily my least favorite but there's still some great jams on there. Best Places, This is All Now and Call Me in the Morning.

I remember walking miles to buy that album when it first came out. I loved it, listened to it all the time. Still think it's great, but just not on the same level as the last two.

Songs are good on ST, along with LN. But I hate the way the drums sound on those albums.

I'm surprised that there are a vocal crowd that have this opinion on El Paso. El Paso / Best Places / This Is All Now are my three favs from that album, with the final one being possibly my favorite of the 3 most recent albums.

I'll never understand why they seem to think Faith is the song from it that they should play live. Song is such a dud, lol. I feel like a lot of people would list that as like one of the lower end songs from the album, but who knows.

I don't have an ear for production at all. It all sounds fine to me

haha. It's okay, maybe I'm a minority opinion on it. It just drags and I think it's such a weak song. The fact that it's the one song they choose to play from that album probably makes me dislike it more than I should.

Didn't like the drums on Louder Now or s/t. Doesn't hurt the albums much but there's definitely songs I would love even more if the drums were better.

I have zero issue with any aspect of the production on Tidal Wave.

I don't really think FBR would have interest in TBS, honestly. I think FBR would be among the best routes for any band in the scene to grow their fanbase, but I just don't see that happening for most of the bands. Epitaph would be a good option. Hopeless seems like they are unable to help these bands really grow too much, but I also think the market for these types of artists is really down right now to begin with, and they're also not putting out material that makes fans really *want* to listen to what they have to offer. That isn't to say Tidal Wave is a bad album, it's just that I don't think the average TBS fan is going to care for it.

This very well could be my favorite TBS album. I love this record quite a bit. Surprised at that too. Didn't expect this album to be in heavy rotation but it is!

Meh, it looks like I'm the only one who doesn't really like El Paso. To be fair I also don't really like Death Wolf, which seems to be a big consensus favorite on Tidal Wave. I guess I think this era of the band doesn't do (relatively) heavier rock so well. Best Places is my favorite song by this band though, and This Is All Now is a really good, fairly underrated song, I think. Really dynamic for them

I don't hate Faith, but I also don't think it's very good haha. I don't think I've ever seen anyone who's said they love that one. I imagine they only play it so often because it was a single

Death Wolf is one of the weaker songs on Tidal Wave I think. Not bad, but there are others that are way better. I can't stand the one time two times three times four part.

I thought I was the only one! Yeah, I don't hate it, but to me it feels like three different songs thrown together...and not in the good way they did that style on the first couple albums
