get the proof of purchase and your ID and take it to an Apple store they will unlock it

 

Dang.

Worth calling Apple to see what your options are, but they're obviously quite the advocates of privacy and security.

There might be some "jail breaking" methods that could help you put, but void any kind of Apple support.

Yeah the only way to unlock activation lock is doing what I posted above - they're isn't a work around its Apple security

 

Don't if it's a company phone then shouldn't IT have admin rights over it? I thought that's how Apple for business worked.

Trying to use it to answer texts and read notifs. gotta say its pretty damn handy.

Yeah the more I thought about it and after normal use this weekend so far I was kind of thinking, this really isn't that big of a deal, ha not to mention I don't necessarily want to go through all the hassle if it's something that isn't noticeable.

 

No just here and twitter but I'm sure if it happened to me then it probably happened to others. Surprisingly, I'm not even mad about the delay, I just thought this email was funny.

 

I actually like breathe as well and do try to make time for it. Also, it's pretty cool to reply to texts by talking into the watch on the fly. To me, the watch is like the iPad in that when it came out I didn't think I'd ever need it but now that I have it I can't imagine not using it in certain situations.

 

Haha agreed. Needs more apps though. I haven't thought of anything useful yet, but as an iOS developer this really opens a lot of doors for me. If you guys have any ideas for a cool use for watch let me know.

Battery is draining so quickly though. Might be overusing it.

 

So Apple sent me a new email saying it is supposed to be delivered today with a tracking number but UPS says Monday. I want to say UPS is probably right but who knows since one day it said it was in Alaska and the next it was in Korea.

 

I really, really don't like how email threads are displayed after the update in the Mail app.

 

And the phones are here. Very excited

 

So I paid for the leasing option on the 10th which the sprint workers pushed me to do, saying it's worth it blah blah. I agree, they do a credit check and all that typing nonsense, take my info, I pay about $155 in store for the plan pre-order and whatever other starting charges they need. I get my paperwork for it and what not, and the waiting game began. a few days later I get a $35 "Sprint Authorization" charge on my account. I went in on Thursday and asked the same rep to help me figure out when the phone might ship. He stares at his computer for a while typing stuff in and then says "Yeah, it's not showing me anything, but you can login to my sprint at home and it should tell you." I come to find out I can't login because I don't have my number for the phone yet (porting mine over from Verizon). I open a piece of mail today from Sprint saying they denied me the leasing option because of my student loans....


They're gonna give me my god damn money back right?

 

has any one ever had to use ibackupbot to erase "saved messages'' from their phone? I have to do it frequently and can't get it to work. Does it not work with iOS10?

 

Anyone get their hands on a jet black 7+ yet? Mine's supposed to arrive at the end of this week but hasn't shipped yet, so getting it by the end of the delivery window is looking doubtful. Seems they're having pretty big supply issues.

 

You should still receive it this week. My iPhone 7 shipped from China on a Wednesday, and I had it on Friday morning.

 

How's the battery life of iPhone 7? Per day.

 

Great. I have had it for over a week, and I have never once had to charge it during the day like I used to do with my last iPhone. One charge makes it through the entire day with pretty regular use.
