Also, there was a mishap last night where a spark machine set flame to the stage surface towards the end of DOAB. It was quickly extinguished by security, but totally freaked me out for a second.

 

Somehow I missed that but saw it on Instagram this morning!

 

Kind of surprised this song isn’t blowing up.

 

Seems to be climbing up the alt chart. VLV was doing well but I’m not sure if it’s charting high anymore.

 

Next two shows are postponed (Covid).

I'm liking this more and more the longer I spend with it but I don't think I can listen to Local God anymore, I'm already so sick of that chorus. It's sad because I like the verses a lot.

 

NBC probably has different COVID protocols for someone who just tested positive, assuming it was someone in the band.

 

That could be, it's just weird that both parties deleted the social media announcements and didn't offer any clarification or reasoning.

 

They also didn’t bother to actually post the postponement and cancellation announcements, not on Instagram anyway. They put them in Stories for no one to see past 24 hours. Just very odd and bad management.

 

yeah Panic’s management seems atrocious, even more evidenced by how they were scheduling Brendon for things in the PFTW era. I hope he ditches Crush soon.

 

on another note, while I like the record, I find it absolutely hilarious that in an interview about recording, Brendon mentioned that when they (B, Viola, Sinclair) recorded vocals, they were doing it without headphones and where they couldn’t hear themselves. definitely tracks with all the comments on the vocals…
