Direct was good. Not necessarily for me, but there were some big announcements at least. Pikmin is exciting.

was not expecting tales of symphonia and octopath 2 tho, but holy shiiiitt

"Various Daylife" so they just gave up on naming things

 

Biggest disappointment was that they announced TWO YEARS of N64 games with no DK64.

 

I was pleasantly surprised to see a couple of Mario Kart tracks previewed in there. It's a little bit of a bummer that they are all ports from Mario Kart Tour, but that last pack was so much fun that I don't care. Pumped for this next wave.

 

Mario Kart tracks basically confirmed the leak from a while back, so if you want to know whats coming ahead of time, you can find out.

Nintendo is sitting on a bunch of finished games at all times and it's completely arbitrary when or if they release them. It's *wild*.

At this point they can keep the WW and TP ports if they exist. I’d much rather have a top down remake similar to Link’s Awakening instead of ports that should have been out years ago.

 

fwiw I really don't give a shit about those ports either. I've also played Prime 1 enough to last me a lifetime. Gimme that new shit!

On a console that only sold 13 million units. There’s like 15 switch games that have outsold the Wii U lmao

Id totally buy them again though. I didn’t even play my Wii U I just bought it a few years after it came out. I have the ports though

 

very excited about Symphonia remake, that's still the only Tales game i've played. i gotta get to Arise at some point.

I've never played Octopath but I'd imagine I'd like it if I enjoyed Triangle Strategy?

 

Fully convinced the gameboy and gamecube ports will come next summer right before the switch twitch pro comes out and the original is phased out

 

Not enough people talking about NIGHTMARE IN DREAM LAND remake. Easily the best Kirby game.
