Yea this rollout has been way too long for my tastes lol

But idk maybe they looked at the data and knew that they needed to build momentum over a longer period of time to get people aware the album was coming, rather than someone like Tyler, the Creator (who imo pulled off the best rollout in recent memory) just announcing and dropping the new album within like 2 weeks

 

I'm running this 24 hour race on release day- a 5k starts every hour on the hour. Gonna let myself only listen to the record while running for some motivation. Could go really well or really badly lol

 

I think it has to do with the vinyl production and delays, but still it’s been a long time coming haha

Oldest Daughter came out in April lol

 

I'd rather have waited until like June for OD to come out this has been wayyyyy too long

 

Agreed, I have had to exercise so much restraint on the singles, I've only listened to most of them a handful of times and haven't even checked out the newest one. I'm ready for the record now!

 

Almost positive it is just a streaming algorithm decision by Hopeless. Still sucks tho and I hope it doesn't hurt their sales once it actually releases.

 

I mean, Dan literally said numerous times during Insta Q+As that it was down to vinyl delays

Along with Bayside, Motion City, NFG, Silverstein and Story Of the Year, but def most excited about TWY

 

Jealous. I won’t get a chance to see them until next year at least.

 

same! I’m pretty sure this is the first time I’ve seen them since the glamour kills tour in 2012. Maybe a warped tour set after though
