  1. When shows are weekly, I always watch a couple episodes, and then I forget and almost never finish a season haha.

  3. Yeah it is. I also hate binging shows. So I guess I’m just a mess in general.

a good example of a show that would do better weekly is The Great, like now it's a show where it's like oh right Elle Fanning has a Hulu show and she's nominated for an Emmy good for her, but I think it would be a huge hit and people would talk about it more if it aired weekly

absolutely. also, like, bridgerton is big but it would dominate conversation for two months if it were weekly vs. just having it for like a week tops

I know people said they saw stranger things discussion all summer (I did not) but imagine how much it would have dominated if they released an episode a week all summer long? That’s all you would have heard about.

Paper Girls wouldn't have been canned after season 1 if Amazon didn't stupidly release it using the binge model (which not typical for amazon) on the heels of Stranger Things season 4 while expecting it to get a similar reaction.

I like the weekly model because I have a sad life and I need my weekly episode to look forward to so i can get by, okay!!

All I know is that when I discovered Harley Quinn and could binge two seasons, I watched it all in a couple days. Now that I'm caught up and it's weekly, I stopped watching 3 episodes into season 3.

I'll probably binge it when it's all out there. Idk.

since I like to wait for a whole season of a show to come out the binge method is perfect for me but usually I stick to a couple of episodes a night to make it last

Obviously just seems like it's down to people's personal viewing habits. Personally I like to just set aside a few hours to watch a bunch of episodes, I always forget to watch a single episode when they only air weekly

I like both depending on what show it is and I like that Netflix has their own way of doing things. If it does help more of their shows not get cancelled then I say it's a positive regardless of how I like to consume them.

How is weekly better for writers? Aren’t the full seasons finished when they start airing anyway? If so just give them all to me and I’ll watch them when I want. The discussions will always be there, the sopranos discussion isn’t ruined because people can watch 2-3 episodes a day now.

LOL all these posts about an article that is only suggesting they move away from the binge model.
