Chelsea just seems to be a shotgun of decisions with no clear strategy, from their signings to this decision to fire Tuchel.

  4. I'd be scared to take this job if I were him tbh haha

He just finished with PSG, a club notorious for how chaotic things are ran, and is being deemed as a failure there. Which is certainly an argument you can make. The talent on that squad is insane and they did not live up to expectations, but that can be said for basically every manager they've had recently. Is the right move really to move to another club with glaring red flags of potential instability + incredibly high standards? Maybe moving back to PL is more comfortable to him but I don't know. Seems like a bad idea for him at the moment.

Kinda wild how things keep falling into place for Xavi with shaping the squad.

I know it's big news to have Chelsea looking for a new coach at this point in the season, but today also happens to be the biggest day in the history of Orlando City and my time as a soccer fan. I remember attending matches in the 2013 and 2014 seasons just enjoying the fact that there was a professional team in Orlando (although they were playing in a lower league in the USL). Since joining the league in 2015 we have been a bit disappointing (and at times embarrassing) but today is our first opportunity at a trophy as an MLS club and with it being the USOC, we have yet to have a bigger game in our history.

The boys have already given the city plenty to be proud of by making it this far, but tonight would put us over the top.

I've never celebrated after a sporting event but I am gonna find it hard to resist a visit to a bar downtown after the match if we somehow pull it off. Sacramento won't make it easy so it should be one hell of a match.

True - I dont get why we are trying to play the same game as teams that are obviously way better than us. I remember playing 4-5-1 against man utd in their hey day with a 43 year old defender and managing to get a draw!

  15. I saw Orlando has been doing some extensive "scouting" for this match lol

Speaking of fantasy, before anyone reacts, it's not this match week it's next. Will any other matches be affected?

    Was that David Weir?

Yeah I expected you to be a little more compact given prior European performances in recent years, maybe with a little more of GVB's midfield man marking but I think sometimes it's hard to change the pattern of play when you're struggling against a really good team. That second goal could be described as unlucky but he's in the area with probably five yards of space and you can't really control deflections when you're that far off.

    Is GVB under pressure?

No. This postponement will only affect the Brighton v Palace game due to the location of Brighton's stadium/previous hostilities between their sets of supporters.

Yeah lol! But atleast we new what we were playing with. He was a good defender to be fair.

I see we have changed to a. 5-4-1 which i do not understand why we werent playing like that away from home against a clearly better team. Or atleast some sort of defensive shape.

This Barcelona rotation is pretty intriguing. A lot of room for people to make some cases.
