I’m still reeling that Ace Steel showed up on AEW TV for the first time last week and four days later was biting Kenny Omega

 

I hope they can just all work it out because I don’t want Punk to get fired - I wish he could just grow up but alas. If you choose him over the Elite then those 3 absolutely go to WWE and AEW is toast

 

I don’t need to see Punk anymore, was a huge fan for a long time. I’m just turned off to him, seriously don’t care if he kicks rocks.

Probably because I am such a huge Omega/Bucks fan and thats because of their great reputations in and out of the ring.

 

Unless you think the Kenny/the Bucks threw the first punch (which really who the fuck knows) it's pretty easy to take their side. The only thing they seemingly did wrong was they shouldn't have addressed this with Punk moments after, but Punk and Ace were so much worse

 

Because if the Bucks and Omega go to WWE almost every one in this thread will start tuning into WWE consistently haha

 

Punk is that type of dude who will keep pushing and pushing until you hit him.

All I think of is how the Bucks never really had a problem with HHH during their negotiations and that they got an unheard of "6 months opt out" in their contract, so yeah, HHH will literally sign them right away

 

And apparently Punk is hurt from the match with Mox? What if he has to take time off again

 

Imagine Omega being the one to beat Reigns haha

 

Imagine showing someone that picture right after the AEW announcement rally and telling them it will happen in 2023

about all out:

you're live in chicago for three days, and you still have a ppv that has 15 matches??
i would have had a 2 hr special edition live rampage friday and have those 4 preshow matches.
move one or two matches from the ppv to the revised preshow.

15 matches AND hometown hero main eventing made me think that audience was conserving energy, only exploding during specific moments: ladder match, acclaimed, trios, and the main event.

quality over quantity, both wwe and nxt shows were better.
hits/misses from the aew show are what's gonna leave the more lasting impression.

my 'work/shoot joke/rant' from aew is this:
sucks to have paid money for this show, only for the most talked about thing happened on youtube for free.
lemme double down: paid to see punk go 0-2 in ufc, and the only time he ever knocked someone out and not one fan saw it.

I'd be cool with them giving the belt back to Mox and MJF saying he didn't earn it for a few months. Those two would absolutely kill each other on the mic.
