After watching the gameplay demo I am once again unenthused about Watch Dogs 2, haha. I think I'll sit this one out

 

I got Birthright because I'm pretty bad at FE games, haha. I like the Nohr family more though so I think I'll play Conquest at some point. I loved Awakening too.

 

them messing around in the strip club is basically what I would do with that drone.

It looks like I can have some fun just messin around.

also soundtrack is still confirmed the best.

 

Fates feels like more of an undertaking overall than Awakening ever did, but the time has been well worth it so far. Hoping to play through Birthright after Conquest (if anything maybe the practice will help me breeze through it, haha), then onto Revelation to finish it all up.

 

Yeah soundtrack and actual gameplay seem great.

Just gotta grin and bear the story it seems

I've never really been a story person in these open world games so I'm totally good.

granted I didn't really find anything cringey besides the dude with electronic eyes but I can deal with that.

There is a bit 25-30 minutes into the video where he goes off on a sophmoric rant about how the government is always watching and so on and so forth. That is delivered 100% straight, and it's really corny.

I'm not saying it'll be a bad game, the gameplay video has me excited for it. Just going to have qualms about the characters, dialogue and tone.

Looks like a number of VR devs are dropping support for Oculus due to Luckey funding Nimble America, including Kokromi and their upcoming SuperHyperCube VR game.

 

For the record, Watch Dogs 2 looks okay. Think the whole HACK THE PLANET/BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING bit is mad cornball but I might pick it up in a PSN sale or something down the road.
