My favorite Thanksgiving ever was my wife and I's first Thanksgiving as BF/GF and we ditched our family dinner(s) early and went out and got shitfaced at a Panini's and ordered bar food.

 

Thanksgiving is hella tight. Haven't had Moston Barket since it went out of business though

 

Honestly had NO idea Boston Market's were still around until last Thanksgiving.

 

I did buy a partially cooked thanksgiving turkey from Hyvee one year. We just had to finish it in the oven for like an hour. It was good!

 

I enjoy thanksgiving. But it’s always weird. Thanksgiving 2004 was the last meal I had with my younger brother. He wasn’t feeling great but made it through dinner and the. Was taken to the hospital where he passed the next Friday. He had had leukemia and was incurable at the point he was at. He had been sent home to be there as long as he could. So it’s a bittersweet day.

My mom's side of the family really dropped off from doing it for a few years after my grandmother died. They did very half hearted, thrown together ones for a few years after taht.

 

Damn this is heartbreaking. That would be so hard.

 

I'm usually with my dads side of the family for Thanksgiving, but that year I was just numb, Covid was keeping everyone apart and I was pretty fucking drunk all the time. October 2020-June 2021 was.....Interesting to say the least.

 

Boston Market is definitely a fast food joint that has superior food to other fast food joints.

Hey as an elementary teacher it is worrying! It’s not their fault and no one should hold it against the kids though
