I haven’t had a watch since i somehow lost mine in my own house in April. So that’s top of my list.

 

14 Pro and AirPods Pro 2 for me this year.

 

Which one do you have? I'm wearing a Series 4 and keep expecting the battery life to tank, but I have yet to encounter any noticeable change.

 

I have the series 4. I mean I know I probably get way more notifications than most people but I’ve noticed a huge difference the last two months or so.

 

Are you running the iOS 16 beta, by chance? I noticed when running iOS13 and 14 betas that my watch battery life took a huge hit, strangely enough.

 

No I’m not. Maybe I just have a bad battery. But either way I’m happy to use it as an excuse to get a new one

 

Man, Apple (and their partner) are really pissing me off lately. My old iMac. Already a hilarious estimate to trade in, but whatever I want to be done. But now saying the data was not wiped is the reason to give me nothing for it?

But I absolutely wiped it. Destroyed that entire disk. I would never fucking send in a computer somewhere without doing that. I killed it. And checked it before sending it back in. That drive was completely wiped.

So my option is to reject this, they'll send me the ENTIRE thing back? Or accept it and they'll recycle it?

What the hell? I'm inclined to be like, fine, send it back. But I just want to get rid of it. And, of course, there's no way to talk to anyone about this.

 

Between the Studio Display and this, you have not been having a good time with Apple! I’d be tempted to take it back but it’s also a pain when you want it done with. Is it quite old? Wouldn’t get more than $120 selling to someone?

 

Probably not, but I'm also like "fine, you can pay to send it back to me, it's huge!"

It's also definitely wiped.

 

I'd be super pissed too. Impressed they send it back though, Samsung would just ditch it

 

is it possible to get the computer back to you and then just trade it in at the Apple Store? That's usually (key word: usually) easier.

do we think there is a spec bump coming to the MBPs at this event? I just got finance approval to over haul a bunch of office gear, but I may hold off if a bump is incoming

 

if there is a new MacBook Pro in 2022 it would probably be announced in October and available in November most likely - it would probably have the M2 Pro or M2 Max chip in it.

 

assuming phone, airpods, and watches are the big ticket items next week? too soon for new iPads?

 

iPads would be a likely candidate for the October event

 

I don’t know why no one is speculating about the VR headset being shown off next week. The iPhone event seems like the perfect time to announce it if it’s coming in the next 12 months.

 

Really really hoping for new AirPods Pro. Mine are... fine, just meh battery life and I just want to see something new

 

Man i just have 0 interest in anything VR

didnt read the caption and thought that was just a really old macbook lol

 

My wedding ring has caused a number of nicks in the paint of my space grey MBA... really wish I would've put a protective cover on it when I got it. Not sure if it's because of the type of ring (tungsten) or just a really weak quality paint job on these things.

 

And I was going to ask if anyone uses hard shell cases on their MacBooks. I used to in the past and was thinking of getting the 1st gen M1 pro and thought if I did, I wouldn’t put a case on it this time

 

Very cool of Apple Store to switch out both of my Airpod Pros buds i bought at launch in 2019 since there was a fluttering in the left one. I still may get the new set that gets announced.

 

They did that for me and the case too.
