If you watch English dubs instead of subtitles for anime, the community treats it as a crime. I eventually started adding them for all movies and shows now. I’m used to it haha.

This is exactly it. I don’t understand how people can focus on reading and watching at once lol

 

Does The Sandman get any better after episode 1? It was really pretty to look at but I was so bored. It was needlessly long.

 

Episode four is where it really starts to get good.

Laughed quite a bit at Chad and JTs show on Netflix.

Why is there another John McAfee doc?

 

There certainly seems to be a trend of competing streaming services putting out documentaries on the same subjects.

 

I started the Seven Worlds, One Planet nature doc on HBO. I had no idea about this one (came out in 2019). Nature docs narrated by David Attenborough are pretty much a guaranteed slam dunk and I'm loving this one so far.

 

I really wish someone else here watched animal kingdom so we could discuss just how bad it got and the awful awful last season.

 

I also feel like I'm being distracted when using subtitles, like I find myself reading them even when I can understand the dialog fine and it takes away from focusing on the visuals, character's expressions, etc. For something like House of the Dragon though, it's crucial.

 

I thought JGL was gonna be so big after Inception

 

he's done two great tv shows in the last year

 

I just got a year of Peacock for $20

 

I never even heard of this show until recently with all the commercials promoting it's last season

 

How?
