i was obsessed with this album in high school and still listen to it all the time today lol. i fucking love it. its christian deathcore but something about it is actually like, really good

 

That is the EXACT kind of shit I think of with the ideal deathcore album tbh hahahaha holy moly I remember playing Minecraft listening to this band. I would huff this shit straight from the pipe.

Nothing tops the formative memory we all having of playing Halo 3 while blaring Linkin Park though right

 

lol yep. Was playing the H3 beta all the time with my friends when Minutes To Midnight dropped. Good times

 

i got into hybrid theory right around the same time i discovered the first halo at one of my friends houses

Anyone check out the new thoughtcrimes album (drummer of Dillinger Escape Plan's new band).

 

No idea but seeing the Trap Them singer perform on tour after breaking both of his feet was wild. They still brought it despite the guy being unable to move.

 

Iirc, they were starting to get things rolling again in 2020 right before the pandemic started but then went radio silent again. They definitely should though, they would greatly benefit from the emerging death metal wave going on right now.

 

Great statement from the band, really hope Scott’s wife and kids are okay.

 

Respect to the Neurosis dudes. That's one of the best statements I've seen from a band related to matters of accountability in a while.

Maybe my second favorite Death song? IDK. Still doesn't top Zombie Ritual for me though.
