Anthony is absolutely spoiling us this year.

I've never really been a fan of AG's vocals past Saosin aside from a few isolated tracks. And I know they're really good, just not my thing. THIS is how I want him to sound. I want full album of this! Holy wow.

Anthony must’ve edited that post, I thought it originally said something like, “so glad to make music with people I haven’t made hate me yet”. Felt like a bummer, guess he edited it.

 

This is such a blast and Anthony's screams are unreal. This made me realize how much I missed Tim's bass playing as well. Is it really the first time we've heard him on a studio recording since No Devolucion?

Also the poster above says Tucker Rule (Thusday/Yellowcard). I missed the memo about the latter or does that mean he will be drumming on their reunion dates?

Speaking of supergroups, I can't recall the name but does anyone else remember the one Tucker was part of with Todd from Glassjaw in 2012-ish?

The post is edited yeah (I didn't see it though). Pretty sad if that's where things are at with Circa right now. Bummer for sure.

Tucker toured with Yellowcard around 2014 but Nate Young (Anberlin) is playing Riot Fest with them. I think it's just a weird pull from his history. Yellowcard doesn't have an extensive touring plans announced.

 

Tucker played some shows with YC on their farewell tour I think but I also missed the announcement of him playing the riot fest show if that’s a thing lol

edit: whoops it wasn’t their farewell tour, I guess it was right after they kicked LP out.

 

Welp I’m insanely amped on this, but I feel like that’s the nail in the coffin for circa

 

They removed the orange vinyl from their site but put sold out above the rest. Might be looking into to much because that's the one I preordered lol

 

I assumed it was an indie store variant cus it wasn’t posted on their site but I found it for pre-order at a local shop. Could definitely be wrong though

I've listened to the single three times now and should probably slow down, but this is the most hyped I've been for something in a while. This track somehow feels like my favorite part of everyone's respective projects mixed in with some fresh ideas. Circa is my favorite band, I have two Circa tattoos, but I'd be fine if this band overtook Circa as Anthony's biggest project.

 

I’d be surprised if this band became Anthony’s biggest project considering the other names involved. Perhaps his solo work picks up more steam at this point.

 

The 4th listen hits different. Highly recommend.

Circa has released such an interesting and expansive catalog of music over the last 17 years so I'm pretty satisfied if the members went off in different directions. Could always come back to the project once everyone gets some time to be apart. Maybe we are all assuming too much though.

I have probably listened to this song around ten times already. It is so good that I have a hard time imagining that the album could have a track that tops it, haha.

Love the album art as well.
