Is NXT worth watching these days? Haven't watched it since Stand and Deliver in April last year and a lot of what i've seen since has been incredibly meh. Haven't seen any of their matches, but the likes of Bron Breakker & Von Wagner seem dull as fuck.

 

Some of it's pretty good. It's kinda cool to watch the new talent improve over time

 

I like Bron but I’m not sure they know what to do with him.

 

It’s a pretty fun show. It’s very character-oriented but the wrestling is good too. The green wrestlers have improved over time, the women get a ton of TV time, and the stories for the most part have a logical progression and conclusion.

Von Wagner is by far the least interesting guy there still. Bron is really good for a green guy but he is just kinda there. A face champion with no real development. They’re really just spinning wheels until Carmelo Hayes faces him.

 

Yeah I don't think there's any hope for Von Wagner lol

I did see a clip of Chase U from last night with Regals son debuting. Wasn’t a fan of them, but he looked good and he looks to be done with them nearly immediately haha

Saying that, I have no idea what the Diamond Mine are like. Literally just watched their segment where Gallus attacked them last week and they just came across like dumb jock bullies from an American teen high school film.

 

They’re a low card act but they deliver some of the funniest segments on the show. Andre doesn’t win much but he can go in the ring. His match with Giovanni Vinci (the former Fabian Aichner) several weeks back was great.

 

My favorite memory of Andre Chase (formerly Harlem Bravado) is seeing him years back at a local indie. I started a chant of "you ain't got it" to which he gave me a mean glare that I responded with a shrug.

I haven’t really followed NXT but I used to see clips of the championship or of Bronn Breakker but I haven’t heard his name or seen the title in forever. All I ever see clips of or hear people talk about is the womens championship scene or random womens matches. Is Roddy still there?
