Hahaha I could keep going. My son, right from the beginning, favored me and it always drove my wife crazy. He’s just a daddy’s boy. I dunno. So years ago when he was almost one, I used to have to travel a lot for work (before I gave that up because I just couldn’t take being away anymore) and my wife would send me these terribly sad videos of him crawling around the house and opening doors looking for me. When I came home late one night after one of those work trips, my son - Ephram - stood up in his crib and was crying out. So I went in there because I desperately wanted to see and hold him anyway. It was like 4 in the morning and pitch black in the room and I was holding him close to calm him. Suddenly he sat up in my arms, and in the dark I could feel his little hands touching the 5 o’clock shadow on my face. Then out of that darkness I just hear this whispered, revelatory, “Dada!” and awwwwwwww gawd.

 

phew. Hate that we have to do this all over again in December though

Wait relief is now tied to pell grants AND it’s means tested? The worst two dems on this issue took the worst of their plans and put them together. It would be comical if it wasn’t so maddening

I remember receiving a few Pell Grants. Not sure why that matters, if you received grants you probably had to borrow less than others did.

 

Neither one of my kids slept through the night until we got them their own bed. They both despised the crib. Didn't matter what we did. However, once we got them their own twin-sized bed, they instantly slept through the night. Both of them. Kind of wild. We transitioned my son at 2 years, 4 months, and my daughter even earlier than that. It was like a magic pill that solved all of life's problems for them.

So does that mean the $20k only applies to however much you got from Pell grants, or you'll be forgiven $20k as long as you have SOME sort of Pell grant?

I think I did get one, but idk that it was as much as $20k

I definitely filled out a FAFSA but idk if I got any pell grants, I doubt it, my parents income wasn’t low but i have no clue what the limits are for it

 

Sounds like the latter. If I recall correctly the grants were only like a couple thousand.
